City Tour

Cape Town City tour and Table Mountain:

This tour introduces the splendour of the rich history of the Mother City and the colourful Malay quarters. We visit the oldest garden in South Africa, The Company’s Garden, established in 1652 by Jan van Riebeeck as a vegetable garden for to supply fresh produce to passing ships. Today it contains a wide variety of indigenous and exotic plants, shrubs and trees, an aviary and a restaurant. The sundial dates back to 1787 and the bell tower from 1855. The Saffron tree is the oldest tree in South Africa and is believed to have been planted by Jan van Riebeeck.

A world Heritage Site, the summit of Cape Town’s world-famous landmark is 1086 meters above sea level. Visitors can reach the top by the new revolving cable car. There is a restaurant and souvenir shop on the summit. The mountain also offers a number of hikes and walks of varying degrees of difficulty from easy strolling to rock climbing. The mountain is covered with a wide variety of wild flowers and it’s the natural home of the famous silver tree. The scenic view of the Peninsula from Table Mountain is the perfect way to end the day. These are but a few places we’ll visit.
